MobileHelp Introduces Wall-Mounted Medical Alert Button

Wall-Mounted Medical Alert Button

For attendees at this year’s National Association of Home Care & Hospice (NAHC) conference, MobileHelp, a leader in Mobile Personal Emergency Response System (M-PERS) solutions, is introducing the newest accessory to its medical alert family – the Wall Button.

Designed for use in living spaces in conjunction with its Cellular Base Station and/or Mobile Device, the new Wall Button allows anyone in the home to obtain emergency help – with the push of a button.

“Our customers have told us they want a range of options for accessing emergency help,” said Rob Flippo, CEO of MobileHelp.  “For that reason, we have incorporated new devices and applications – from this Wall Button to a Smartphone app – that will allow our customers and their loved ones to reach us from whatever system best suits their lifestyles.”

The Wall Button can be mounted on any flat surface such as a hallway wall, near a staircase or in a bathroom.  It can also be placed on a tabletop in areas such as the living room or bedroom.  Customers can install it anywhere around the home to make emergency calls more accessible.  The wall button makes it easier for an in-home caregiver or family member to have quick access to call for help in an emergency.

Equipped with an LED light, the Wall Button utilizes two light colors to communicate the following:

  • Flashing RED occurs when the emergency “Press for Help” button is pushed;
  • Blinking AMBER occurs when the device’s battery level is low.

Available now, the Wall Button comes with mounting hardware and double-sided tape, and includes 2 AAA batteries that are easy for the user to replace.
