Health Navigator Inc. Partners With MDLIVE; Providers And Patients Benefit From Advanced Diagnostic Capabilities

Health Navigator Inc., announced that it has partnered with MDLIVE, a national leader in virtual care, to create a better, faster telehealth encounter for patients and doctors. As result of this arrangement, the Health Navigator database of clinical codes and analytic tools is being integrated into the MDLIVE user experience.

Health Navigator’s Natural Language Processing (NLP) technology enhances the MDLIVE experience by converting free text that is submitted by users into medical terminology. The program can detect common misspellings and rate symptoms based on urgency to provide safe and accurate diagnosis and record keeping. The capabilities benefit both provider-facing and patient-facing interfaces that employ the MDLIVE application.

The Health Navigator system gives clinicians access to supporting information and in-depth questions that help doctors and patients recognize all treatment possibilities.
